As we left the coastal road after Lisbon, we found ourselves heading towards Odivelas amid scorching heat. This region has a dam, constructed in the 70s to provide water as rainfall is scarce.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautiful camping site that surpassed our expectations. The campsite was adorned with olive trees, offering plenty of shade, and right next to it was the dam. The refreshing waters of the dam were a welcome respite during our stay, making it a truly memorable camping experience.
