Eastshore, Virkie is home to Ness Boating Club Caravan Facilities. With 12 hookup points available and ample parking space, this club warmly welcomes caravaners. Daily hook-up rates are £10 for non-members and £8 for club members.
Wild Camping
If you seek a more rustic adventure, wild camping in a tent is an option on most unenclosed land in Shetland. However, please remember to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. When close to settlements, it’s advisable to check with the nearest house before camping. Offering payment when using facilities on official sites is considered courteous. The Shetland Islands Council requests that wild campers limit their stay to a maximum of 2-3 nights in one location and avoid fields with crops, livestock, or nesting bird colonies.
Camping Bods
