Essential Information for Renters
Driver’s License and Age Requirements
To rent a motorhome, you must have a valid driver’s license for at least one year. The minimum age for renters/drivers is 21 years.
Weight and License Limitations
Our vehicles have a maximum total weight of 3.5 tons, and a regular car driver’s license is sufficient to operate them. Please ensure that the weight limit is not exceeded during your trip.
No Smoking and Gentle Treatment
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the motorhome. We kindly ask you to treat the vehicle with care and respect.
Late Return Policy
If you return the motorhome later than the agreed-upon time, an additional day’s rental fee will be charged.
Responsibility for Claims
Any claims made by subsequent renters or third parties due to your delayed vehicle handover are your responsibility.
Immediate Reporting of Vehicle Defects
Any defects or damages discovered in the vehicle at the beginning of the rental period should be immediately reported to the rental company. Claims for damages reported later will not be accepted.
Tips for a Safe and Enjoyable Trip
Awning Safety
As the awning is susceptible to strong winds, please never leave it unfurled unattended.
Roof and Windows
Ensure that the pop-up roof and windows are securely closed before driving or leaving the motorhome unattended.
Fueling and Maintenance
Only use regular diesel fuel and never use bio-diesel. Check the oil level, water level, and tire pressure with each refueling.
Traveling with Pets
Pets are allowed in the motorhome with prior agreement and payment of a pet fee.
Size and Weight Restrictions
Always be aware of the dimensions and weight limitations of the motorhome. Adhere to the road traffic regulations to avoid any penalties.
Secure Parking
Whenever possible, never leave the vehicle unattended, especially outside of designated camping areas. Secure the motorhome and lock up chairs, tables, etc.
Protection against Theft
Always ensure that the vehicle is protected against break-ins. Do not leave any valuables in the motorhome.
Cleanliness and Care
To maintain cleanliness, the mattresses are covered with protective covers and should not be removed. Protect the seating area with cushions or towels, especially if traveling with children or pets.
Bicycle Transportation
Bicycles should only be transported on the rear bicycle carrier and never inside the motorhome. Secure the bicycles properly on the carrier.
Insurance Details
Deductibles
In case of damage, the renter is responsible for a deductible of €1500 for both comprehensive and partial coverage. The deductible is waived if the renter intentionally or grossly negligently causes the damage.
Renter’s Liability
The renter is liable in the following cases:
- Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Hit-and-run after an accident
- Failure to notify the police after an accident
- Unauthorized use of the vehicle by a third party
Cancellation Fees
If you need to cancel the rental agreement, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- 45 to 31 days before the start of the rental: 25% of the rental price
- 30 to 16 days before the start of the rental: 50% of the rental price
- 15 days or less before the start of the rental: 75% of the rental price

Security Deposit
A security deposit of €1000 must be paid in cash or via bank transfer before taking possession of the vehicle. The deposit will be refunded within 5 business days after proper vehicle return and final settlement by the rental company.
What to Do in Case of an Accident
In the event of an accident, fire, theft, or damage caused by wildlife, the renter must immediately notify the police and the rental company. Do not acknowledge any claims made by the other party. The renter must provide a detailed written report, including a sketch, to the rental company, even for minor damages. Failure to provide the report may result in full liability for the damages.
No Overseas Travel
Please note that traveling outside of Europe is not permitted with our motorhomes.
Vehicle Handover and Return
Upon vehicle pickup, an inspection report will be prepared together with you, noting any existing damages or defects. The vehicle will be examined for any new damages or defects upon return. Any new damages or defects will be charged to the renter. Please inform us immediately about any known damages or defects to avoid any disputes.
Cleaning
The motorhome must be returned clean by the renter. This includes emptying the wastewater tank, emptying the toilet tank, cleaning the sanitary facilities, and thoroughly cleaning the interior. Alternatively, you can book a cleaning service for a flat fee of €129 with the rental company.

Before your trip, it is your responsibility to thoroughly familiarize yourself with the driving regulations and requirements for operating a motorhome in the respective foreign country.
